Ken Tsunoda

Deep Community Capital
Ken Tsunoda aims to make impact investing fun and accessible. A Just Economy Institute Fellow, he invests his retirement assets for social good and has initiated two impact investing circles for shared learning. With Deep Community Capital’s launch, Ken is empowering people at all wealth levels to become self-directed impact investors, opening opportunities previously available only to wealthy people and institutions.
Ken has been working in the fields of impact investing, social enterprise, philanthropy, and nonprofits for over 25 years. Before starting Deep Community Capital, Ken served as Vice President of Development and Global Network for TechSoup, a nonprofit social enterprise that has distributed over $15 billion in donated or specially-discounted technology and other resources to over one million nonprofits globally. Ken led an innovative Growth Capital Campaign to raise $11.5 million by engaging TechSoup’s stakeholders as impact investors through a Direct Public Offering of debt securities. He was previously General Manager of NGOsource, the game-changing service that revolutionizes global philanthropy for U.S. grantmakers.
Ken earned a B.A. with honors in Physics from Harvard University, and an M.P.P. degree from Harvard Kennedy School.
Jon Pelletier

Jon Pelletier is passionate about using technology to make wealth-building inclusive and impactful. As Co-Founder, Co-CEO, and Chief Operating Officer of Deep Community Capital, Jon drives strategy and operations for an impact investing platform that empowers investors at all wealth levels to align their financial goals with their values. His leadership delivers scalable, high-performing solutions for meaningful community and social impact.
With over 25 years in fintech, financial services, and entrepreneurship, Jon has a proven track record of launching innovative platforms. As a co-founder and President of OffRoad Securities, the registered broker-dealer subsidiary of OffRoad Capital, he helped launch the first private securities marketed, priced, and sold online in 1999, pioneering a marketplace that facilitated over $100 million in investments. His consulting work with institutions like Citigroup, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, and Charles Schwab focused on business transformation, operational efficiency, and financial technology innovation, modernizing platforms and enhancing client experiences. Jon’s strategic vision has consistently driven growth in the financial sector.
Jon holds an M.B.A. with an emphasis on Marketing and Finance from UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business and an B.A. in Government from Harvard University.
Elizabeth Belda
Chief Product Officer,

Elizabeth Belda is dedicated to creating technology solutions that make impact investing accessible and impactful. As Chief Product Officer at Deep Community Capital, she leads product and service development, delivering intuitive, personalized platforms that empower investors at all wealth levels to align their financial goals with their values.
With over 25 years in fintech and healthcare, Elizabeth has a proven track record of building transformative platforms. At Fidelity Investments, she launched a DocuSign-enabled onboarding platform for RIAs, capturing over $500 million in assets in its first year. Her consulting roles at Charles Schwab, Wells Fargo, and First Republic Bank drove innovations in digital banking and wealth management, enhancing user experiences and operational efficiency. In healthcare, she led ESG compliance initiatives at Smith & Nephew, integrating ServiceNow with AI-driven workflows for EU CSRD reporting and managing global sustainability projects. Her strategic vision ensures scalable, compliant solutions across industries.
Elizabeth holds an M.B.A. with an emphasis on Finance from UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business and an B.A. in Biology from Harvard University.
John Katovich
Co-Founder & General Counsel,

John Katovich has over 30 years of experience as a securities lawyer and entrepreneur. John was a Founder and President at Cutting Edge Counsel / Cutting Edge Capital, a boutique law firm that helps companies use innovative capital financing tools. The firm became nationally recognized for its focus on innovation while applying its services to good companies that care about sustainability and their people.
John was General Counsel at the Pacific Stock Exchange and the Boston Stock Exchange and the Chief Regulator Officer for the NASDAQ subsidiary that regulates options trading. He also served as General Counsel for two technology startups where he participated in both public and private financings. He has represented and dealt with major securities regulators and governmental entities, including, among others, the SEC, FINRA, state regulators, congressional banking and finance subcommittees, the CFTC, and emerging/developing country governments as an advisor and consultant in capital market development. He was part of the team that designed and introduced the iShares ETF product to Barclays Bank. Along the way, John has taught an MBA course focused on the capital markets, worked with US-AID countries to assist in their market development progress, joined a sustainably focused broker-dealer, and became an external General Counsel to several companies needing legal and C-suite guidance.
